The Manitoba Stampede, as part of the Valley Agricultural Society, has entered the Aviva Community Fund Contest and is eligible to win over $50,000 to help fund the Grandstand Restoration.
For the community members of the Town of Morris, the word Stampede holds a different meaning than it would to many others. Tradition, history, spirit, legacy, tourism and rodeo are just a few that come to mind. But the most important for many of the residents would be pride. Pride in an event that brings together people from Morris, neighbouring Manitoba town residents and visitors from around the globe.
The Valley Agricultural Society is asking for help from the general public, in voting for their project, online. Anyone can register to vote on the Aviva Community Fund website and then can cast a daily vote for the Restoration Project during the voting round which ends on October 23, 2015.
Participants will have 18 votes in total and can only vote once per day. Proxy voting or voting for someone else is not allowed.
