The Steinbach Arts Council is pleased to present an opening ceremony celebration for “Up Close” by Wendy Winther and “Ode to Saturday Morning” by Steve Friesen. The event is scheduled for November 18, 2015, at the Hall Gallery in the Steinbach Cultural Arts Centre.
Wendy Winther is a Dufresne artist who loves using oil on canvas as a medium and is often inspired as well as expresses her art through her garden. Steve Friesen is a landscape artist from Steinbach who works with oils. Growing up on the Manitoba prairies and watching his dad paint, have inspired his art.
The public is invited to the art exhibit opening November 18, with a reception to follow. The exhibit will remain open to the public until January 11, 2016.
