The Steinbach Arts Council is pleased to present Elvis and The Blackwoods performing on November 20, 2015, at the Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church in Steinbach.
Elvis and The Blackwoods features a combination of your favourite Elvis hits that made him the King of Rock and Roll, as well as the Gospel music Elvis himself loved so much. The evening includes performances by Grammy award-winning Southern Gospel group, The Blackwood Quartet, along with Collingwood Elvis Festival Gospel Champion, Corny Rempel.
Corny Rempel is an award-winning Elvis Tribute artist, comedian and well-known local entertainer who has performed across North America for fifteen years. The Blackwood family is the first family of Gospel music, winning over 8 Grammy awards, 27 Dove awards, having sold over 60 million albums and having been inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.
The public is invited to join Elvis and The Blackwoods for this performance, honouring the memory of Elvis Presley and his music. Proceeds of the concert will go towards funding the future Steinbach Performing Arts Centre.
