At approximately 9am on November 5, 2015, Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a call of an unresponsive male outside a residence in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.
Officers arrived at the scene and discovered a 50-year-old man lying on the ground, suffering from critical injuries. The victim was transported to hospital, where he died as a result of his wounds.
RCMP report that 46-year-old Bradley Clarence Malcolm of Portage la Prairie has been charged with manslaughter and has been remanded in custody. Malcolm is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, November 9, 2015 in Portage la Prairie.
The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the Serious Crime Unit, Winnipeg Major Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Services.
