On November 23, 2015, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Manitou RCMP responded to a head-on collision between a tow truck and a pickup truck on Highway 23 in the RM of Lorne, MB.

Police say that the driver of the pickup, a 24-year-old female, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other driver involved did not suffer any serious injuries.

Traffic analysts and reconstructionist are assisting the ongoing investigation in order to establish the contributing factors to the collision.
