On December 18, 2015, at approximately 8:50am, Souris RCMP responded to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Road 66N and 117W in the Municipality of Riverdale, MB.
Initial police investigation revealed that a northbound vehicle collided with the side of a westbound vehicle, sending it into a ditch.
RCMP report that the driver and lone occupant of the westbound vehicle, a 68-year-old man from Riverdale, MB, was transported to hospital and later pronounced deceased.
A traffic analyst is assisting the ongoing investigation in order to establish all contributing factors to the collision. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
