On December 24, 2015, at approximately 5am, Selkirk RCMP responded to a two vehicle collision on Provincial Road 230, just north of Highway 67, near Selkirk, MB.

Initial police investigation reveals that a vehicle traveling south on Road 230, collided head-on with a dump truck traveling north. The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, a 53-year-old Selkirk, MB man, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other driver involved did not suffer injuries.

RCMP report that a traffic analyst is assisting the ongoing investigation in order to establish all contributing factors to the collision.
