Thompson RCMP are asking the public for assistance in locating a missing Thompson man, 34-year-old Yvon Shawn Guignard.

Police say that on December 9, 2015, Thompson RCMP received a report that Yvon Shawn Guignard was missing. He was last seen near the Thompson General Hospital in the City of Thompson during the early morning hours of November 28, 2015.
Guignard is possibly wearing a light brown winter construction jacket with bright yellow reflective material and black ski pants. He is described as 6’1″ tall with a slender build, weights approximately 155 lbs and has blonde hair and blue eyes.
“Our officers have exhausted all avenues of investigation in this case and are asking for the public’s assistance,” said Sgt. Bert Paquet of the Manitoba RCMP. “Guignard should not be approached as he may be in medical distress, instead we ask anyone who sees him to contact their police of jurisdiction right away.”
