Ted Falk, Member of Parliament for Provencher, is reminding businesses and not-for-profit organizations that the deadline to apply for a summer student through the Canada Summer Jobs Program is February 26, 2016.
Canada Summer Jobs provides funding to help employers create summer job opportunities for students. Young people aged 15 to 30, who are full-time students and intend to return to school in the fall, can qualify for these job opportunities.
“The Canada Summer Jobs Program is focused on creating jobs that help students gain valuable work experience,” said MP Falk. “The program is designed to focus on local priorities, while helping both students and their communities.”
