The Steinbach Arts Council is proud to present Sierra Noble Fiddling and More concert on March 1, 2016, at the SRSS Theatre in Steinbach, Manitoba.
At only 23-years-of-age, Sierra Noble has become a well-known name in Manitoba for the past 10 years. Her two talents – singing and fiddling – will be showcased with a mix of upbeat 200-year-old Canadian Métis fiddle tunes and her Shawn Colvin/Patty Griffin inspired folk pop songs.
Releasing her first full-length album at the age of 14, Noble works to preserve the Métis culture through fiddle tunes and a dance style that has been a lifelong passion of hers. As an artist, she has spent much of the last few years in New York, Los Angeles and Nashville, building her audience in the United States. Canadian appearances have included opening performances for Paul McCartney (2009) and Jon Bon Bovi (2010).
Sierra Noble is now returning to her home province of Manitoba with a local tour, bringing her love of folk-pop music to life on the Steinbach stage. The concert will be held on March 1st at 7:30pm in the SRSS Theatre in Steinbach. Ticket information is available by calling the Steinbach Arts Council at 204-346-1077.
