Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of 32-two year old Jean Pierre Gagnon of Winnipeg. Gagnon is wanted in connection to a recent home invasion that occurred in Steinbach, Manitoba.
On the evening of April 18, 2016, members of the Steinbach RCMP responded to a home invasion at a Brandt Avenue residence, in Steinbach, Manitoba. Initial police investigation revealed that two suspects were involved in the incident. One of the suspects, 24-year-old Harley William Delorme, was apprehended on April 21, 2016. Delorme was located in Winnipeg and arrested by the Manitoba Integrated Warrant Apprehension Unit, a joint unit consisting of RCMP and Winnipeg Police Service members.
A warrant of arrest has since been issued for the second suspect in this investigation, 32-year-old Jean Pierre Gagnon of Winnipeg. Gagnon has been charged with numerous firearms and violence offences. He has ties to the Winnipeg and Ste. Anne areas and should be considered armed and dangerous.
The public is urged not to take any steps to apprehend Gagnon themselves and are asked to contact the police with any information on his whereabouts.
