On May 2, 2016, around 8pm, Killarney RCMP received a report of a man who died in a farming accident on a farm located in the RM of Cartwright-Roblin, Manitoba.
Initial police investigation revealed that a 69-year-old man from the area was attempting to get into the cab of a rolling tractor to assist the driver. The man then fell and collided with the wheels. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
RCMP report that the driver of the tractor, a 25-year old-man, is not facing charges and that the investigation is continuing with the assistance of a traffic analyst.
