On Wednesday May 18, 2016 at about 6pm, Selkirk RCMP were called to the Selkirk Golf and Country Club in the City of Selkirk, after receiving a report of a body that had been discovered.
Police attended and discovered the body in the river just off the golf course. It was in a state of decomposition. Early investigation indicates that the body is a male, however the identity has not been confirmed.
RCMP have scheduled an autopsy.
