On July 8, 2009, Steinbach RCMP Detachment executed a search warrant at a residence in Lake Riviera Estates, a subdivision in the RM of Ste. Anne.
The investigation lead to the discovery and seizure of approximately 600 marijuana plants as well as packaged marijuana. The street value of the seizure is estimated at approximately $600,000.
A male and female couple from Winnipeg have been arrested. Both were released for a court date in August and are facing several drug related charges.
