On May 29, 2016, at approximately 10:30pm, Selkirk RCMP received the report of an assault at the Behavioural Health Foundation, located on Breezy Point Road in the RM of St. Andrews, Manitoba.
Officers attended the location immediately and found two injured female staff members. Police investigation revealed that two teen males, attacked and robbed both victims using weapons.
Police say that the victims were transported to hospital suffering from serious injuries and are currently in stable condition.
RCMP report that both suspects involved in this investigation of assault and robbery have now been arrested. Both were located in Winnipeg in partnership with the Winnipeg Police Service, and remain in custody. Charges have not been finalized at this time.
