A Steinbach man has died after his motorcycle collided with a semi truck on Provincial Road 305 near Crystal Springs Road.
On June 20, 2016, at approximately 2:40pm, officers from the St-Pierre-Jolys RCMP Detachment responded to a 911 call of a collision between a motorcycle and a semi transport truck.
Preliminary police investigation has revealed that a semi, traveling north on Crystal Springs Road, was turning west on Provincial Road 305 when it was struck by an eastbound motorcycle.
Police say that the motorcycle driver, a 25-year-old Steinbach man, was transported to hospital by ambulance but succumbed to his extensive injuries.
An RCMP Traffic Reconstructionist is assisting with this ongoing investigation.
