On July 5, 2016, at approximately 9:44pm, Steinbach RCMP along with EMS and Fire Department responded to a single ATV accident on PR 207, approximately one mile west of Ste. Anne, Manitoba.
Police investigation revealed that an ATV rolled and landed on the driver’s head. The driver, a 31-year-old man, sustained serious head injuries and was transported via STARS to Winnipeg Hospital.
RCMP report that the driver was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and that alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
The driver’s condition is listed as stable and is receiving further treatment.
