Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating numerous break-ins that recently occurred in Blumenort and Steinbach, Manitoba.
On July 13, 2016 Steinbach RCMP received numerous reports of break-ins into local garages, vehicles and a camper trailer. Police say that the incidents occurred primarily in the town of Blumenort, though a garage break-in in the City of Steinbach had a similar method of entry and is believed to be related.
Police say that the incidents occurred overnight on July 12, 2016 and were all discovered in the morning of July 13, 2016. A motorcycle helmet valued at $350 and a 26″ Insignia TV were among some of the items stolen.
Steinbach RCMP caution all homeowners to remain vigilant in ensuring that residences, outbuildings and vehicles remain locked and secure at all times.
