42-year-old Barbara Cawley of the Hollow Water First Nation.

On July 16, 2009 at about 3pm, RCMP Powerview Detachment were notified that 42-year-old Barbara Cawley of the Hollow Water First Nation was missing from her residence.

Cawley was last seen at her residence in Hollow Water on July 15 at about 10pm.

To date police and family have been unable to locate her. She may have headed to Winnipeg.

Barbara Cawley is described as aboriginal, 5’4″, 110 lbs with a slender built. The clothing she wore at the time is not known.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the RCMP Powerview Detachment at (204)367-8728.

Update 07/18/09 8:10am

On July 17, 2009, shortly after 9 pm, Barbara Cawley was located outdoors in Hollow Water deceased. Arrangements for a post mortem are underway. The details surrounding her death remain under investigation.

Update 07/18/09 7:55pm

A post mortem was conducted July 18 in the morning at the Health Sciences Centre and no evidence of foul play was found. The cause of her death is pending the toxicology results.
