Lynn Lake RCMP received a report of a missing person on the 17th of December, 2008.
Lorna Dumas 44 years old was reported to have been last seen on Sherritt Avenue in Lynn Lake on the 13th of December between 11 p.m. and midnight.
There has been reports that she may have been seen in Thompson, Manitoba. Lynn Lake RCMP have not been able to confirm these reports and are seeking public assistance in locating her.
Dumas is an Aboriginal female. She is approximately 5’4 and 170 lbs. Dumas has black hair and brown eyes. Dumas is reported to be wearing a dark red or plum colored winter jacket with a green hooded sweater.
The RCMP with the assistance of the local Canadian Rangers and members of the Marcel Colomb Band have conducted local searches with negative results.
