A vehicle stop in Dauphin early Saturday morning resulted in the seizure of a small amount of cocaine and marijuana.
Around 12:30 a.m., a patrolling officer noticed a truck being operated without any tail lights. The driver was found to be on probation and was driving without a valid driver’s licence.
Following the arrest, a search of the vehicle was conducted and officers located and seized approximately 1 gram of cocaine and 1 gram of marijuana.
31-year-old Regean Patrick Skwark of Dauphin has been charged with breach of probation, driving without a valid driver’s licence and 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance. Skwark has been remanded in custody to appear in court in Dauphin on Monday, July 27, 2009.
