In the afternoon of December 22nd, the Winnipegosis RCMP Detachment executed a search warrant at a residence in Camperville, 60 kilometres North of Winnipegosis. The search warrant was obtained under the authority of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
The search resulted in the seizure of marihuana, cash and various drug paraphernalia from the residence.
Police will be laying charges of trafficking on a 46-year-old male and a 42-year-old female resident of Camperville. They will be appearing in Camperville Court on February 26, 2009.
