Fisher Branch RCMP in conjunction with the Manitoba Fire Commissioner’s Office is investigating a highly suspicious house fire which occurred in Hodgson, Manitoba at 2:30am on September 5, 2009.
The house was completely destroyed by fire with property damage and loss estimated at $75,000.00.
The work performed by fire fighters from Fisher Branch, Peguis and Fisher River kept at least one other home and several out buildings from also being destroyed. The owner and occupants of the destroyed home were out of town at the time of this fire.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in this investigation and anyone having information concerning this fire is asked to contact the Fisher Branch RCMP or Manitoba Crime Stoppers.
