At approximately 2:15am on September 20, 2009, the Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP Detachment responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision on PR278, approximately 5 kilometres north of Ebb and Flow First Nation.
A 25 year-old-male was walking on the highway where he was struck by a south-bound vehicle. Members arrived on scene to find the male deceased.
The vehicle and driver have been located and alcohol is believed to be a factor.
The investigation is ongoing.
