In unrelated traffic stops this past weekend, two people were arrested for impaired driving.

Around 5am September 19, 2009, a pickup truck was stopped on 1st Avenue N.E. in Dauphin after officers noted it to be weaving in it’s lane. A 27-year-old Ochre River woman was found to be impaired by alcohol and was arrested and taken to the Dauphin Detachment where breath tests were conducted.

On September 20, 2009, at approximately 12:30am, a patrolling officer noted a vehicle near Buchanon Avenue to be weaving in it’s lane. The vehicle was stopped on PR362 just north of Dauphin. The driver, a 36-year-old Sifton man, showed signs of impairment and was arrested. He was taken to the Dauphin Detachment for breath tests.

Both people have been released to appear in Dauphin Court in October.
