On January 5, 2009 at about 10:15 a.m., Killarney RCMP were dispatched to a fire at 309 Fletcher Street in Killarney, Manitoba.
The Office of the Fire Commissioner is investigating the cause of the blaze which resulted in a total loss. No injuries were sustained in the blaze as the residents were not home at the time. Firefighters were unable to retrieve the family pets.
The investigation is ongoing.
