At approximately 4am, on September 25, 2009, Manitou RCMP were dispatched to a single vehicle collision in the RM of Pembina.
On highway 3, 3 miles east of Manitou, an adult male and his spouse of Manitou, MB, were driving to the Boundary Trials Hospital for a medical concern when they struck a Moose on the highway. The moose came out of the south side ditch and was struck.
The male driver sustained minor injuries from the impact. The injured moose was later put down by DNR.
This incident is not under any further investigation.
