On October 1, 2009 at approximately 6:30pm, Pukatawagan RCMP received an anonymous tip of contraband liquor being transported into the community by way of boats.
Subsequent police investigation resulted in the seizure of 1188 ounces of Liquor and approximately 1/2 kg of marijuana. The estimated value of the liquor and drugs seized is in excess of $15,000.00.
No charges have been laid at this time and police continue to investigate the matter.
