On October 13, 2009, shortly before noon, members of Waywayseecappo RCMP were notified that a 15-year-old male had been located deceased in the community of Waywayseecappo First Nation, Manitoba.
Members of the Waywayseecappo RCMP Detachment, along with Brandon Major Crime Unit and Dauphin and Winnipeg Forensic Identification Section, continue to investigate.
A post mortem has been scheduled at the Heath Sciences Centre in Winnipeg on October 15, 2009.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

A post mortem was conducted today at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg and the cause of death has been attributed to hypothermia. Based on the investigation and the post mortem no foul play is suspected. On the request of the victim’s family, the name of the deceased is not being released.
