RCMP have laid charges in connection with a fire at the Morris Riverview Golf and Country Club earlier this month.
An intensive joint investigation by the Morris RCMP Detachment, RCMP Major Crime Unit from Winnipeg and the Office of the Fire Commissioner into property offences to several locations in the Town of Morris on October 19, 2009 and also the arson of the Morris Riverview Golf and Country Club on October 21, 2009, has resulted in Criminal charges.
Two seventeen year old males, one seventeen year old female and one nineteen year old male will be attending Court on 24 Criminal charges according to their involvement. The offences include mischief, possess goods obtained by crime, break and enter as well as arson.
The four persons charged are from the Red River valley area. No names may be released at this time.
