On October 27, 2009 at about 9am, Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a complaint of a break and enter to a business in the 400 N.W. block of Saskatchewan Avenue in Portage la Prairie.
Police attended the scene and observed that entry had been gained through a side door to the building sometime overnight. Investigation revealed that an undisclosed amount of cash had been taken from the premises. Portage la Prairie Identification members examined the scene and processed the site for evidence and continue to investigate.
Anyone with information regarding this break and enter is asked to call the Portage la Prairie RCMP at 857-4445
