On November 24, 2009, shortly before 7am, RCMP Headingley Traffic Services were dispatched to a collision involving two vehicles and a grader on the West Perimeter (101) South of Inkster Boulevard.

The two drivers of the vehicles have been taken to hospital for treatment. One of the drivers was taken to the Grace Hospital and is considered in stable condition while the other driver was taken to the Health Sciences Centre with undetermined injuries. The grader operator was not injured.

Details of what lead to this collision are still being gathered. At present, it is believed that the grader operator was crossing the West Perimeter Highway from the east to the west when the collision occurred.

Update 11/24/09 1:30pm

The 35-year-old Winnipeg man driving the Grey Sunfire remains in hospital and is listed in stable condition at the Health Sciences Centre. The driver of the Red Impala, a 43-year-old man from Winnipeg, was treated and released at the Grace Hospital. The driver of the grader, a 61-year-old from the RM of Rosser, was not injured in the collision.
