On December 26, 2009 at 11pm, Neepawa RCMP were called to a single vehicle rollover near Neepawa.
A 2002 Buick LeSabre lost control on Highway 16 approximately 8.5 kilometres east of Neepawa. The vehicle hit a snow drift on the slippery highway where it rolled in the ditch.
The five occupants in the vehicle including a 2-month-old baby were not injured.
The driver of the vehicle, 60-year-old Ronald Scott of McCreary, Manitoba, collapsed outside of the vehicle. He was transported to Neepawa Hospital where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy is scheduled for December 29, 2009 in Brandon.
The cause of death is not believed to be directly related to the rollover.
