On January 18, 2010, at 12:44am, Headingley RCMP Detachment were dispatched to an armed robbery at the Arboc Smoke Shop situated on the Trans Canada Highway in Headingley.

Three male suspects entered the business at gun point forcing the employees to the floor. The suspects then began to remove tobacco products from the shelves and the main office area. One suspect began to search the employees for cash and then forced on the employees to open both cash registers. 

The suspects made off with approximately $12,000 worth of tobacco and an undisclosed amount of cash. They were last seen heading towards the City of Winnipeg in a pick-up truck.

The males were described as being aboriginal, between 5’7 to 5’9 in height, medium build and brown eyes.
