On January 23, 2010, at approximately 3:30am, Stonewall RCMP were advised of an armed robbery that took place at the Red Sun Gas Station and Smoke Shop in the RM of Rosser.
It is believed atleast six individuals, five males and a female, were involved in the robbery. Five suspects entered the business premises wearing disguises and brandishing weapons, including a firearm. Two employees were working at the business at the time of the robbery, however, no one was injured. Among the property taken were several hundred cartons of cigarettes, the office safe, some computer equipment and an undisclosed sum of cash.
The suspect’s vehicle was described as a White Ford F-250 or F-350 extended cab pick up with a black stripe along the bottom of the truck and a cap covering the box.
