Roger Byer, reported missing on January 26, 2010.

The RCMP and Prince Albert Police Service are investigating the disappearance of Mr. Roger Byer last seen in Melfort, Saskatchewan on January 20, 2010 at 1:30pm.

Mr Byer is employed to service ATM’s and was last seen doing exactly that at 1:30pm. Byer was reported missing by his family to Prince Albert Police on January 26, 2010. The RCMP assisted with an ariel search of Mr. Byer’s varied routes on the 29th and 30th of January, 2010 with negative results.

Byer has varied routes and was known to travel grid roads to small rural communities in Saskatchewan for service calls.

Byer is described as Caucasian, male, 57 years of age, 6′-1″ (185 cm), 210 lbs (95 kg), grey hair with green eyes. His handle-bar moustache may have been shaven off. Byer drives a 2009 black GMC Canyon Ext.Cab 4X4 with Saskatchewan plate 327 GPL.

Due to the large snow fall  and lack of traffic on rural grid roads the police are asking the public to report any vehicle that fits Roger Byer’s truck that could be in your area.
