One thousand high school students will be impacted with the importance of working toward, and protecting, human rights human rights as they take in the college production of The Diary of Anne Frank at Providence College next week.
The school presents the Pulitzer-prize winning stage to sensitize us to the continued need to work for justice both at home and globally. Providence students and staff have already been impacted by the deep and powerful transformations required in preparation to perform this story. Anne’s diary was first published in 1952 and became part of the curriculum in many secondary schools, including some in Hanover School Division.
The three high school matinees (Feb. 17th, 18th, 19th) are already close to sold out. Public performances are Feb. 18-20, 7:30pm at Providence College. Reserve tickets for evening performances are available for $8.50 by calling 204-433-7488. Tickets will also be available at the door for $10.00.
