The Manitoba Integrated High Risk Sex Offender Unit, which consists of both RCMP and WPS Members, is requesting assistance from the public in locating Christopher Eddyn MurdockPolice are seeking to locate Murdock as he has failed to comply with his long term supervision order.
Murdock is currently subject to a long term supervision order as a result of being convicted of numerous, serious sexual assaults. A condition of this order requires him to reside at a community correctional centre, he has failed to do so and is currently unlawfully at large.
Murdock is at high risk to re-offend both sexually and violently. He has an extensive criminal record which includes several sexual assaults, weapons and violent offences. Murdock is reported to have a long history of alcohol and substance abuse and is considered an untreated Sex Offender. All females are at risk.

Update 03/10/10 3:30pm
On March 10, 2010, at about 1:15pm, RCMP Fisher Branch members, acting on an anonymous tip, attended a residence in the community of Fisher River Cree Nation and arrested Christopher Eddyn Murdock without incident. Murdock is now back in police custody and being escorted to the Stony Mountain Penitentiary.
The investigation continues.
