The City of Steinbach is getting ready to take part in the Clearspring Centre’s 2010 “Ready to Bloom” yard and garden show this Friday and Saturday, with a display focused on hazardous waste disposal, e-waste recycling, and other green activities.
Various handouts will be available with information on composting, grasscycling, and waste reduction in general. Information regarding the City’s upcoming community clean-up event, Oil Recycling Day, and Household Hazardous Waste Day will also be available.
Gardeners, environmentalists and others do not want to miss out on this great opportunity to learn more about composting, grasscycling and how they can reduce the amount of waste going to the landfill.
