Waywayseecappo RCMP have arrested and charged three male youth with break and enter with intent, aggravated assault and robbery with a weapon.
On August 14, 2010, Waywayseecappo RCMP with the assistance of Prairie Mountain Detachment members and Dauphin Forensic Identification Section responded to an incident where a male had been assaulted with a weapon in his residence. The 52-year-old victim had sustained extensive injury to his head and was transported to Hospital. The suspect that assaulted the victim then stole some contraband prior to fleeing the residence on foot.
The three youth have been remanded in custody. All three accused and the victim are residents of the Waywayseecappo First Nation Community.
Police investigation continues.
