On September 28, 2010, Carman RCMP were advised of an attempted child luring incident in the RM of Dufferin.
Investigation revealed that a suspicious male had approached several children on a hutterite colony in the area.The children did not speak to the male nor enter his vehicle. In this particular incident the male subject was noted to be driving a van.
Police are investigating in attempt to identify this individual and determine if there were any other reports of similar incidents.
RCMP are asking that persons with any information on this incident contact their local RCMP Detachment, Police agency or Crime Stoppers at 1800-222-8427.
The public are further reminded to report any suspicious activity immediately to their local police and remain vigilant.
Police continue to investigate.
