Prairie Mountain Area RCMP have arrested and charged two males with break and enter with intent and aggravated assault.

On October 19, 2010, Prairie Mountain Area members with the assistance of Brandon and Dauphin Major Crimes Unit, Dauphin Forensic Identification Section and Dauphin Police Dog Service, responded to a disturbance call at a Waywayseecappo residence, where an unconscious male was located with extensive head injuries.

The victim was transported to Hospital for treatment of his injuries and was later stabilized. Investigation revealed that the male had been assaulted with a weapon. 

Alden Charles Shingoose and Ryan Randolph Stewart Oudie, both 24-years-old, are charged with break and enter with intent and aggravated assault. Alden Shingoose also faces one charge of uttering threats and two charges of failing to comply with his recognizance.

Both males have been remanded in custody to appear in Brandon Provincial court on Friday, October 22, 2010. The two accused are from the Waywayseecappo FN community.
