At approximately 5:12pm on November 13, 2010, two masked suspects, armed with knives, entered the J.T. Shop and Diner located on Penner drive in Blumenort, Manitoba.
An employee in the store observed both suspects go directly to the cash register and take an undisclosed amount of cash. Both suspects then left the store. It is unknown at this time if they fled on foot or in a vehicle.
The employee managed to hide from the suspects and it is believed that the suspects were unaware of the employee’s whereabouts in the store. The employee was never confronted by the suspects.
The Police Service Dog Unit attended the scene, however, the search proved to be unsuccessful.
Both suspects were described as wearing dark coloured hoodies. One of the suspects had a dark coloured neck warmer pulled up over the face area while the other wore a black and grey bandanna which also covered the face area. Their gender is unknown at this time. They were described as average build and between 5’6″ to 5’8″.
