Prairie Mountain RCMP are investigating a stabbing incident that took place the evening of November 20, 2010, at WayWayseecappo FN.
At approximately 9:15pm, a 26 year-old male from Ebb & Flow FN was found alone on a roadway in WayWayseecappo, suffering from a stab wound to his upper body. RCMP members from WayWayseecappo, Rossburn, and Russell Detachments responded, assisted by an RCMP Police Dog Unit and EMS.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment and further observation, where he remains in stable condition.
Alcohol was a contributing factor and police continue to investigate.
