On January 3, 2011, Steinbach RCMP Detachment investigated multiple break and enters at various locations near Steinbach.
RCMP report that the break and enters occurred at the Giroux Community Hall, La Broquerie Arena, Kleefeld Recreation Centre, R.M. of Hanover Kleefeld Office and Barkman Cartage located in Kleefeld, Manitoba.
It appears that an undisclosed amount of money was taken from the locations and in one case, McPhillips Street Station Break Open tickets were also taken. Scene of Crime Officers attended all the locations to gather evidence left at the scenes.
It appears that a vehicle may have been seen in the early morning hours at the crime scenes. Police believe that the break and enters were committed by the same suspects.
RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance, by reporting any suspicious persons, vehicles or other activities in their communities.
