January is Crime Stoppers Month in Manitoba and Crime Stoppers invites you to be part of the solution in your area.

There are over 1,200 local Crime Stoppers programs in more than 20 countries around the world. Manitoba Crime Stoppers serves the citizens of rural Manitoba, outside of the cities of Brandon and Winnipeg. We are a community service program managed by a volunteer board of directors.

The Manitoba CRIME STOPPERS Association Inc. was established in July of 1985. In the past 25 years, Manitoba Crime Stoppers has received over 11,760 tips on criminal activities in this province.

The Manitoba Board of directors would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the substantial support of the many volunteers, community sponsors and businesses, local media outlets and law enforcement agencies throughout Manitoba, that have contributed to the success and  achievements of the Manitoba Crime Stoppers program.

Every time a Crime is committed, it affects us all. Crime Stoppers is based on the simple principle that for every crime committed, someone other than the criminal has information about it. Crime Stoppers continues to be effective because of concerned community members throughout Manitoba who are doing their part to keep their streets safe.

Manitoba Crime Stoppers received 559 CALLS in 2010 and these calls assisted the Police in the recovery of $16,710.00 worth of STOLEN PROPERTY and seizure of $265,500.00 worth of ILLEGAL DRUGS in rural Manitoba.

If you know something about criminal activity in your community, contact Crime Stoppers. Manitoba Crime Stoppers provides you with an avenue to safely and anonymously share valuable information with police agencies about crime in your rural Manitoba community.

Please CALL, SUBMIT a tip online, or TEXT your tip in to us. Your information may be the piece of the puzzle needed by police to solve a crime. If your information leads to an arrest or charge you may be eligible for a cash award of up to $2,000.00.
