Early Monday morning, February 9th, 2009, officers from the Dauphin Municipal RCMP Detachment were called to a 4th Avenue S.W. home regarding an unwanted guest.
When officers arrived at the home, they were told that a 14 year old male was in the house and that he was currently believed to be wanted. Investigators located the young man hiding in a closet and as he was being escorted out of the house, broke free and attempted to run out the door. He was quickly taken into custody again and escorted from the home.
The accused was known by the officers to be bound by conditions of a court order with a 24 hour curfew. The Dauphin youth will be appearing in Dauphin Court today on one charge of Breach of Recognizance and one charge of Resisting Arrest.
