Carman Area RCMP are investigating a theft of money (deposits) from a business in Carman that occurred on Saturday, February 12, 2011.
The theft was discovered Monday morning when an employee started to account for Saturday’s business. At that time, it was discovered Friday’s deposit was missing from the safe located at the rear of the business.
It is believed the theft occurred during business hours on Saturday as the store was very busy; the town was hosting its annual “Blizzard Festival”. The amount missing is under $5000, and the business, office or safe were not damaged in any manner.
