South Eastman Health/Santé Sud-Est regrettably announces the resignation of Monique Vielfaure Mackenzie as CEO of South Eastman Health/Santé Sud-Est effective May 31st, 2011.
She will begin her new role of Executive Director with the Regional Health Authorities of Manitoba (RHAM) on June 1, 2011.
Since 2005, Ms. Vielfaure Mackenzie has served as Chief Executive Officer. She was Vice President of Corporate Services and Planning for the RHA for six years, until 2005. Prior to joining the RHA, Ms. Vielfaure Mackenzie had been involved in project management including the building of a new operating room complex at the St. Boniface Hospital, developing computerized information systems, and patient discharge planning. Ms. Vielfaure Mackenzie’s professional training includes a Nursing Diploma from the St. Boniface Hospital, a Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of Manitoba, and a Four Year Certificate Program in Management and Administration obtained through the University of Manitoba.
Ms. Vielfaure Mackenzie’s dedication and loyalty to South Eastman Health/Santé Sud-Est has spanned twelve years, six as Vice President and six as Chief Executive Officer. She has demonstrated her commitment to advancing and advocating health care for South Eastman residents and has been an inspiration to her staff.
