RCMP report that recent break and enters in Swan River have lead to numerous arrests and criminal charges.
Robert Thomas Marcel Brass, age 26, from the Indian Birch Reserve has been arrested, charged and remanded into custody as a result of a break in to a Swan River car dealership on January 6, 2011.
Brass has been charged with break, enter and theft, theft of a motor vehicle, mischief, possession of stolen property and driving while disqualified. Brass will next appear in Swan River Provincial Court on February 28th, 2011.
William Kingsley Beaulieu, age 29, from Swan River was arrested, charged and remanded into custody after police captured him breaking into a local Swan River School on February 19, 2011. On February 22, Beaulieu pledĀ guilty to break enter and theft and illegally possessing instruments for the purpose of committing a break and enter. He was sentenced to six months incarceration.
Swan River RCMP also recently arrested a male youth, age 15, from Birch River for break and enter with intent to a resident’s garage in Swan River. The youth was arrested at the scene on February 6, 2011 and will appear in Swan River Provincial Court on March 16, 2011.
Investigations continue into other break and enter complaints.
